Holiday Hair & Sculpted Arms Fitness Editorials!
Most of the clients I work with know that in addition to shooting weddings and portraits, I LOVE shooting fashion and beauty! As a kid, I loved dressing my friends up, doing their makeup and hair and taking stylish pictures of them.
Getting paid to do the same thing as an adult is pure heaven :)
In November, I had the opportunity to collaborate with 2 beautiful models and Flora Wade (my fave San Diego makeup and hair stylist) to create a Holiday Hair feature for the magazine Reinventing Beauty. The editors gave us total freedom to invent festive hair styles that are holiday party worthy, but easy to do yourself at home. We gave the looks a vintage twist and produced some rockin images! Here are the tears from the winter edition of Reinventing Beauty magazine, available nationwide in CVS stores:

Also in this issue of Reinventing Beauty is a fitness spread featuring one of my gorgeous friends, Rose! (You might recognize her from our Trash the Dress Sand Dunes series!) We were staying with her and her husband Taylor in Colorado when I got the fitness assignment, and she is just so sexy and fit, I begged her to model for me.
